Deepika Padukone is all set to feature in Telugu movie Kalki 2898 AD, which is a mythological drama based on science fiction. The actress will be playing the role of Sumathi, and will be sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas. The star cast of the movie attended a pre-release event in Mumbai on June 19 to interact with the media.
The event was hosted by Rana Daggubati and questioned Deepika about her experience on working with Nag Aswini on such grand project. The actress, who is pregnant in real life, joked that she is still in character and praised Nag’s genius vision to make the film.
When Rana invited Deepika on stage, she made graceful appearance black bodycon dress, flaunting her baby bump. Rana said, “You have been pushed into being a method actor. I can see you are still in character.” The actress quipped, “I mean, the movie went on for three years, so I thought, why not just a few months more?”
