COVID-19: Genelia D’Souza says it was tough for her to stay away from Riteish and her family during quarantine

Genelia D’Souza reveals how hard it was staying away from Reteish Deshmukh and her family during the isolation days.

Actress Genelia D’Souza recently revealed on her Instagram account that she tested positive for COVID-19 and have been in isolation for 21 days. But successfully she battled the virus and came out testing negative after her isolation days. During a recent interview with Mid-day, Genelia revealed that along with her, Riteish Deshmukh also underwent tests in Lilavati Hospital. “We were in close contact with someone who had tested positive, so we did the tests for safety measure. I was sure I haven’t contracted the virus as I didn’t show any symptoms. So, it was surprising when I was the only one who tested positive in the family”, the actress said.
Genelia was immediately moved to quarantine in a suburban apartment. ” Though I remained

asymptomatic, I tested positive again after 14 days. So I was recommended another week of quarantine”, Genelia added.
Speaking of her two children the actress quoted, “My doctor has warned me that these quarantining feel bouts of loneliness. It was tough to be away from Riteish and the kids. Thankfully, Riteish, my mother and mother in law, my two kids and my friends would take turns to call me. They made sure I didn’t feel lonely”.
The actress also revealed that she was spending days by doing yoga, mediation and
was eating clean food.
