Chiranjeevi tests negative for COVID-19, blames faulty RT PCR kit

Chiranjeevi has now tested negative for COVID-19 after testing positive earlier this week. The RT PCR kit used earlier was faulty.

Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has announced that he has tested negative for Coronavirus. He had earlier tested positive due to a faulty RT PCR kit. The actor tested negative after doctors subjected him to three different tests.

Chiranjeevi shared his test reports on Twitter yesterday(12th November) to announce that he is not suffering from COVID-19. His letter reads, “A group of doctors did three different tests and concluded that I am Covid negative & that the earlier result was due to a faulty RT PCR kit. My heartfelt thanks for the concern, love shown by all of you during this time. Humbled!”

On 9th November, the actor had posted a letter on Twitter wherein he mentioned that he had tested positive for Coronavirus, but he was asymptomatic. He said that he had taken a test before shooting for his upcoming film ‘Acharya’ as a part of safety protocol.

The actor will resume shooting for ‘Acharya’ shortly.
