Marriages, divorce, break-ups, patch-ups, infidelity, extra-marital affairs, are very common nowadays. We have witnessed celebrities’ endless rant about their ‘unsuccessful marriages’ and how that leads to extra-marital affairs and eventually divorce. But it is indeed interesting to know when a celebrity husband says heartfelt words for wifey and then takes the big step of infidelity!
That is what happened with Brad Pitt. His relationship with Jennifer Aniston, aka Rachel Green of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, is known to the whole ‘Universe’. They were once called the ‘Golden Couple’ of Hollywood. But in 2005, their separation made headlines and it became the most talked-about break-up of the era. But did you know that before Brad Pitt fell in love with Angelina Jolie during the shoot of Mr & Mrs. Smith, he went around to praise his then-wife Jen in every damn show? Now, this is the throwback we needed to deal with mid-week blues!
Speaking to Vanity Fair, Brad described her “warmth” and how she is the focal point for him and their friends.
He said: “Her emphasis is the home, friends, and family. We all kind of crowd around her like moths to the flame”.
“She’s like a magnet; she brings a lot of people together that way. Jen’s the fireplace; she provides the warmth.”
He then followed this up by repeating similar sentiments to Oprah, as Brad seemed to be in a good place with Jennifer at that time.
As he was quizzed about his marriage by Oprah, Brad replied: “She’s one of the warmest people I meet and we crowd around her”.
“She’s like that fire we crowd around for warmth. This is truly genuine”.
“There’s not an ill-intention bone on this woman’s body”.
“She’s really extraordinary and she’s taught me a lot that way. She brings people that way.”
Within six months, Brad Pitt found a new love in Angelina and in no time they would be seen making out on-screen and off-screen and Angelina also said that she instantly fell in love with this dashing actor. But, as a consequence, his relationship with Jennifer turned sour, so much so, that they even couldn’t attend parties together. Though the rumors say that Brad still thinks that Angelina was not the reason for their separation but Jennifer contradicts this by suggesting that her ex-husband was spotted with Angelina locking hands together.
Ouch! That hurts.
