
Bollywood celebrities are proud of Olympic silver medalist Mirabai Chanu after her big win at Tokyo. Dia Mirza, Swara Bhaskar,ย Anil Kapoor,ย Abhishek Bachchan, among other notable personalities took to Twitter to congratulate Mirabai.

Talking about her remarkable win, the athletic said, “I am very happy that I have won the medal. The entire country was watching me and they had their expectations, I was a little nervous but I was determined to give my best. In 2016, I did not have a good show but it proved as a learning curve for me and I got to know where I need to improve. I worked really hard for this.”
Mirabai Chanu heaved a total of 202 kg while her four thriving attempts across the tournament. Whereas, China’s Zhihui Hou won the gold medal and created a new Olympic Record after lifting a total of 210kg, while Indonesia’s Windy Cantika Aisah was rewarded with a bronze after lifting a weight of 194kg.
