Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal is creating waves on social media. The movie has been the talk of the town for its incredible action-packed scenes and drama. The stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri in key roles.
Bobby Deol’s character has been hailed by the audience. His acting and coolest avatar have been the limelight of the film and fans cannot seem to get over it. In a recent interview, Bobby revealed how he was cast by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and there’s an interesting story to it.
The actor stated that when he was playing Celebrity Cricket league, he didn’t have any work at that time. While on the ground, someone must have clicked his picture. And when he met Sandeep for the first time, the filmmaker showed him that picture, which is still on his phone.
Sandeep said that he wanted to cast Bobby because of that particular expression in that photo, which is amazing. Reacting to that, Bobby said, “Bekaari ke din kaam aa gaye” (days of not working came out to be a boon).
Further, Bobby also shared another incident that happened while shooting for an important scene in Animal. After the shot was over, everybody on his team clapped for him. Bobby was startled at this reaction and asked what happened. Sandeep came to him and praised him by saying, “What an award-winning shot!”
Animal was released on the 1st of December globally. The film has minted a gross profit of Rs 300 crore in just one week of its release.
