Nigam had tweeted, “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India,” wrote Sonu Nigam on Twitter, adding, “And by the way Mohammed did not have electricity when he made Islam.. Why do I have to have this cacophony after Edison?” The singer was apparently miffed at being woken up early in the morning and went on to say, “I don’t believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don’t follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True? Gundagardi hai bus….”

Hilariously enough, it was not only Sonu Nigam who got trolled for the tweets but also his name twin Sonu Sood was dragged into the matter.

Following that a bewildered Sood had tweeted, “I am still wondering WHO said WHAT n to WHOM n WHO’S asking me to find out WHAT happened WHERE (along with a few pondering face emojis)”.

Social media is well-known for being one of the loudest places in the virtual world, and they can be downright hilarious at times.

Nevertheless, Here’s wishing the duo a very happy birthday and good health.
