Binge-worthy PEE-CEE’s movies – Check out the list

Priyanka Chopra is a well-known Indian actress. She is commonly referred to as “PeeCee” or simply “PC” in the media and entertainment industry.

She is one of India’s highest-paid and most visible celebrities. She has won several awards, including a National Film Award and five Filmfare awards. In 2016, she was awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honour, and Time magazine named her one of the world’s 100 most influential people. In 2017, Forbes named her one of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.

1. Fashion

Without Priyanka Chopra, fashion would not be the same. Fashion, which was released in 2008, is regarded as one of PeeCee’s most successful films. She seamlessly went from a young, innocent small-town girl to a top fashion model who pays a high price to be a part of the glossy world. Priyanka’s powerful screen presence in the flick surely impressed everyone. It’s no surprise that she won both the Filmfare Best Actress Female Award and the National Award for her outstanding performance. Fashion got highly positive reviews from critics. Priyanka and Kangana’s performances were praised.

2. Mary kom

A chronicle of the life of Indian boxer Mary Kom, who went through several hardships before audaciously accomplishing her ultimate dream. Priyanka’s portrayal of Olympic boxer MC Mary Kom was difficult, but with training and determination, she demonstrated that she can seamlessly pull off any role. Several anecdotes from Mary Kom’s early boxing career are included in the film. The story has everything a sports biography needs: demanding instructors, an exciting journey, and a proud community. It’s tough not to cheer when she confronts sexism and the challenges of combining her work, marriage, and motherhood.

3. Bajirao Mastani

An account of the romance between the Maratha general, Baji Rao I and Mastani, princess of Bundelkhand.Bajirao Mastani, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was a smash blockbuster. Everything in this picture was visually appealing, from the plot to the narrative to the songs. The film is a love triangle historical drama set in the 18th century, and Priyanka plays Kashibai, the first wife of the legendary warrior Bajirao (Ranveer Singh). Bajirao falls in love with Mastani (Deepika Padukone), and Kashibai’s marriage falls apart. She becomes unwillingly involved in palace intrigue after feeling jilted. Priyanka was the buzz of the town despite not being the major star, as she was acclaimed for portraying her part with such grace and respect.

4. Barfi 

The film received critical acclaim, with critics praising the performances, the direction, the screenplay, the cinematography, the music and the positive portrayal of physically disabled people.

The film was selected as India’s official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film nomination for the 85th Academy Awards.

Anurag Basu’s 2012 film Barfi is a masterpiece. The story centres around Shruti (Ileana D’cruz), who loves Barfi (Ranbir Kapoor), a hearing and speech-impaired guy, but marries someone else. Years later, she discovers he is in love with Jilmil (Priyanka Chopra), an autistic teenager, and is forced to reconsider her own marriage. Priyanka’s best performance was unquestionably Barfi. Everything about this picture was great, from the writing to the songs. It’s difficult to overlook Priyanka in any scene because she perfectly embodied the character’s spirit and made everyone fall in love with Jhilmil’s innocence.
