Bigg Boss OTT 2: Alia Bhatt chooses Elvish Yadav and Manisha Rani as the dynamic duo ‘Rocky-Rani’ of the BB house

Alia Bhatt, while promoting her movie “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” and being aware that her half-sister Pooja Bhatt is a contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 2, compared two other contestants to the titular characters of her film. She stated, “I find Elvish quite like Rocky. The way he speaks, his personality, and his style are very much like Rocky. The way he says ‘systumm’ and all, it’s very entertaining. He really wears his heart on his sleeves and is very funny. I really like him, so Elvish can be Rocky.”

After some consideration, Alia Bhatt named Manisha as the ‘Rani’ of the show, and her reason was, “We can call her Rani, as her name already has Rani. Also, I think they (Elvish and Manisha) would look good together.”

During their Chandigarh tour, Alia Bhatt showcased her knowledge about the contestants of Bigg Boss OTT 2, especially her half-sister Pooja Bhatt, and playfully compared Elvish Yadav and Manisha Rani to the characters of her upcoming film. She also made sure to mention that her sister remains the undisputed queen of the family.

Simultaneously, Alia Bhatt acknowledged, “But I have to take my sister’s name as she is our Bhatt family’s Rani. It’s just the way she is, she is the queen.”

Pooja Bhatt reciprocated the affectionate sentiments, speaking highly of Alia Bhatt’s humility despite her immense popularity. Pooja also mentioned that both Alia and Ranbir Kapoor refrain from boasting about their achievements.

During a conversation with her fellow contestants, Avinash Sachdev and Jad Hadid, Pooja Bhatt recounted an incident where Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar were boasting about their significant social media followings in front of her.

In response, Pooja proudly mentioned Alia’s massive fan base on social media, saying, “I told them, my sister has such an enormous number of followers that it surpasses the population of some countries. Alia Bhatt has a humongous number of followers, and she never brags about it. That’s what you call real followers.”
