Fans and friends from the Hindi and Telugu cinema industries were thrilled as the Animal teaser was released on the internet on September 28, coinciding with lead hero Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday. With the teaser promising a bloodthirsty relationship drama between a son and his father, Animal has become a hot topic for all.
As many replies flooded in from everywhere, Arjun Reddy actor Vijay Deverakonda grabbed the chance to join the conversation on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In his post, the actor wished Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Geetha Govindam, as well as Dear Comrade co-star Rashmika Mandanna, all the best with Animal. He also wished his favourite Ranbir Kapoor a happy birthday.

Rashmika rushed to her X account shortly after he posted the tweet to praise her co-star and call him the ‘best’.

Rashmika’s appearance from the film as Geetanjali was revealed earlier this week, piqued the interest of her fans in what the film promised for India’s National Crush.
The actress appears in the poster wearing a red and white saree with minimal make-up and her hair tied in a messed-up bun.
Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh fame, is a gruesome, savage revenge film that also features a dysfunctional father-son relationship. The teaser shows Ranbir’s character coping with the weight of his father’s expectations and how his pursuit for his father’s approval pushes him to unimaginable lengths.
Anil Kapoor plays Balbir Singh in the film. ‘Animal’s Enemy’ stars Bobby Deol. Besides Rashmika, the film also stars Triptii Dimri in a major role, but more information about her character is still pending.
Originally scheduled for August 11, the film will now be released on December 1st, 2023.
