Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director Anees Bazmee is making a strong impact at the global box office, as it has earned around Rs. 250 crore within its first week. The movie’s released conincided with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which is a multistarrer with Ajay Devgn in the lead.
During a conversation with Hindi Rush, the filmmaker talked about the clash between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. He explained that it was vital for both the films to perform well, since every movie involves a certain budgets and provides jobs to many people.
The filmmaker continued that he always hoped for all the films to succeed and had been praying from the start for both releases to be hits. Anees shared that he does not believe in competition and views it as a collective effort. He also noted that individuals involved in other film – Ajay, Akshay Kumar, Rohit Shetty – are all his friends, and everyone’s happy that both film performed well.
Upon being asked about the casting of Madhuri Dixit as second Manjulika, the director shared that the said role was of quite significant, which led him to consider approaching Madhuri, a choice that excited everyone involved.
