During an interview with Filmygyan, while reading fan comments, she stumbled upon a fan drawing reference to how Anushka and Virat met on the sets of a shampoo commercial.
This revelation caught her off-guard, as she prompted a light hearted reaction, saying, “That’s nice, that’s nice for Virat and Anushka.” She reacted with a laugh as it seemed that she was genuinely surprised at the fans’ favorite couple’s backstory.
Meanwhile, Ananya recently collaborated with Indian cricketer Shubman Gill for an ad, hence sparking excitement among the fans, who are shipping the duo together.
Their chemistry was quick to make it to the social media, which in turns started a flurry of meme fest in playful banter.
Many fans are familiar with the romantic journey of Anushka and Virat, which began in 2013 during a commercial shoot.
Ananya was later asked if she had ever considered dating a cricketer. “No, I haven’t,” she replied.
