Ananya Panday and her Liger co-star Vijay Deverakonda tweeted photos of themselves replicating Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s classic sequence from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Ananya and Vijay are presently promoting their new song, ‘Coka 2.0,’ from their next film, Liger, which is set to be released on August 25.
“pyaar hota deewana sanam” from the song “Tujhe Dekha To” she captioned one of her photos. #DDLJmoment was the hashtag she used. “Coka 2.0 coming to u soooooooooonest,” she captioned another photo. On her photos, she used the hashtag #Liger25thAugust. “Your grin is so wonderful,” one of her fans said. “You are looking gorgeous,” another fan said. Many of her followers commented with heart emojis on her postings.
Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda will co-star in the forthcoming film Liger, which will mark the latter’s Bollywood debut. Puri Jaggannadh’s film is advertised as a “pan-India” release and stars former boxing champion Mike Tyson, Makarand Deshpande, and Ramya Krishnan. The film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam theatres.
The artists had recently visited Ahemadabad for a film event, Mumbai, and now Chandigarh to promote their new single, Coka 2.0. Seema Kiran Sajdeh, Sohail Khan’s estranged wife, recently called Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda’s new love song Aafat ‘nonsense’ on social media. Seema is Ananya’s mother Bhavana Pandey’s friend. It turned out she was joking.
Ananya is also working on Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
