Stree 2 has been dominating the box office collection, ever since its release on August 15. The popularity of actor Sunil Kumar has also been on the rise, as he was featured in the movie playing the terrifying villain Sarkata. The antagonist from Amar Kaushik’s directorial is a 7.7-foot tall constable from Jammu and Kashmir police.
The actor shared his experience on the sets of Stree 2, which was headlined by Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. He also revealed that he has portrayed as Amitabh Bachchan’s body double in Kalki 2898 AD.
In an interview with India Today, Sunil shared that he started receiving offers for commercials and movies in South due to his height. This brough him his part in Kalki, which he gladly accepted. “Even my family was so excited because we have all been fans of Amitabh Bachchan,” he shared.
Recalling his memory onto meeting Sr. Bachchan for the first time, he said, “It was my first day on the set and when I entered the scene, Amitabh sir and Prabhas sir were sitting close by. I was getting ready for my action sequence, wearing the harness when Amit sir looked up at me.” The megastar upon approaching him, asked the cameraman to click a picture and said, “Sabhi mere ko lambu bolte hai, aaj mujhse lamba koi mil gaya,” shared Sunil.
