Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has recently been accused of sexual assault by actress Payal Sharma. Amidst the conspiracies, Kangana Ranaut shares an old video of Anurag, where he confirms molesting a kid.

The director of Gangs of Wasseypur, Anurag Kashyap, as hit the headlines amidst the Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case, for being accused by an actress, Payal Ghosh, of sexual assault last week. The actress has reportedly filed an FIR against the filmmaker at Oshiwara Police Station, Mumbai, whereas Anurag has denied the allegations by calling them false and baseless.

Kangana Ranaut has shared an old video of the filmmaker in her most latest tweet, where he can be heard saying that he molested a kid during his school days. He says that he used to take a kid to a corner and slap him in order to lessen his frustration. He spoke how even he had the same experience and how they both became vulnerable and hugged each other and cried. Along with the video, the ‘Queen’ wrote, “I spoke about emotional vultures/suicide gang who killed SSR and tried to push me to kill myself, many asked but why they do this to others? Listen to Anurag he is explaining how he used to molest a kid, they are people who are hurting but they think hurting others is the answer.”

His lawyer, Priyanka Khimani, also released an official statement on his behalf which read, “My client, Anurag Kashyap, has been deeply pained by the false allegations of sexual misconduct that have recently surfaced against him. These allegations are completely false, malicious and dishonest. It is sad that a social movement as important as the #MeToo movement has been co-opted by vested interests and reduced to a mere tool for character assassination. Fictitious allegations of this nature seriously undermine the movement and seek to unconscionably trade upon the pain and trauma of the actual victims of sexual harassment and abuse. My client has been fully advised of his rights and remedies in law and intends to pursue them to the fullest extent.”
