Allu Arjun has made it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Earlier in the day, the actor was arrested by Hyderabad police in connection to Sandhya Theatre stampede case, which caused a life of a woman. The actor has now been sent to 14-day judicial custody. The decision shall be appealed by Allu Arjun’s lawyers and will move High Court.
Now, the victim’s husband Bhaskar has issued a statement, “I am ready to withdraw the case. I was not aware of the arrest and Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede in which my wife passed away.”

The Pushpa 2 actor was arrested after a case was registered against him, his security team, and the theatre management under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), after a complaint was lodged by the family members of the woman, who lost her life in stampede.
The unfortunate incident happened on December 4,when a 35-year-old woman, Revathi, lost her life, and her eight-year-old son was hospitalized following a stampede at Sandhya Theatre during an event featuring actor Allu Arjun. The incident occurred as a massive crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor.
