Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has been making headlines post her disqualification ahead of her finals at Paris Olympics 2024.
Soon after the development, several celebs came out in support of her and sent her support during this difficult time. One such celeb is Alia Bhatt, who called Vinesh a “Champion for ages.”
The actress took to her Instagram Story to share a lengthy note, “Vinesh Phogat you are an inspiration to the entire nation. Nothing can take away you resilience, nothing can take away your courage & nothing can take away your hardships you’ve been through to create history!”
Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal was also heartbroken, like the rest of us, and took to his X handle. He wrote, “No way. They disqualified Vinesh Phogat for being over weight by 150gms. ? This can’t be real please tell me this isn’t real.”
