Ali Fazal praises front line warriors, says ‘Hope we are able to restore humanity’

Ali Fazal praises front line warriors for their work in fighting against the virus, in an event felicitating them.

As the Coronavirus is continuing to mangle the world, medical professionals are tirelessly waging a war against it. In a recent event organised by governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, we saw celebrities like Ali Fazal, playback singers Shaan and Palak Muchchal and Dr Niranjan Hiranandani felicitating the medical professionals. The event was organised by Bhamla Foundation at Raj Bhavan.

Talking about the event, Ali said, “It has been nostalgic. I had the honour of returning to the Raj Bhavan after years. This institution holds great value for me, for personal reasons. The Bhamla foundation has done [great work] during these tough times. There have been others who have relentlessly worked to help the needy as well. It has been a fight for, and by the common man. It was a proud moment to see such eminent personalities, especially those from the health sector, felicitate each other.”

He further added that the medical professionals are the ones who will lead the way to the new world safe and sound. He added, “I hope we are able to restore humanity. [I pay] my respect to all the doctors and police personnel across Maharashtra who have relentlessly worked, despite the personal dangers [attached to doing so] in this pandemic.”
