Akshay Kumar’s mother Aruna Bhatia’s condition critical, admitted to ICU, actor left shooting in UK and reached Mumbai back

According to Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar left the shooting from the UK on Monday morning and returned to Mumbai to see his ailing mother. However, Akshay had gone to the UK for the shooting of his film next film titled ‘Cinderella’.

According to the latest reports, when Akshay came to know about his mother, he immediately returned to the UK to be with his mother in Mumbai, but he has asked the makers to continue shooting for scenes that do not require him. According to Hindustan Times, ‘The actor’s mother has been unwell for a few days and has been admitted to the ICU at Hiranandani Hospital in Mumbai. Akshay is very attached to his mother and in such a situation he could not stay away from his mother, so he decided to return to India immediately.’

The daily also added, “Even as he is back in Mumbai to be with his mother, he has asked his makers to continue shooting for the scenes in which his presence is not required. He has always believed that work should go on irrespective of any personal situation.”

However, the film “Cinderella” for which Akshay is shooting is a psycho-thriller and reportedly remake of Tamil psychological thriller Ratsasan and will also feature Rakul Preet Singh. The film will be like a reunion for Akshay, director Ranjit M Tewari and producers Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani, who have also produced Bell Bottom.
