Akshay Kumar worked as a ‘Kundun jewellery’ seller and as chef before an actor. Deats inside

Bollywood star, Akshay Kumar, on his recent show with Amitabh Bacchan spoke about his life before his famous and luxury lifestyle.

Kaun Banega Core Pati, an Indian television show hosted by Amitabh Bachan recently had the Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar, Rohit Shetty, and Katrina Kaif as special guests for the show, who would be playing the game together as a social cause.

During the game, Akshay Kumar was asked about his life before his entrance into the Bollywood industry. Akshay replied, saying, he used to sell ‘Kundun’ jewelly in Delhi.


“I sold ‘Kundun’ jewelry which I brought from Delhi at the rate of  Rs.7,000 to Rs.10,000 and would come to Mumbai and sell which would bring a profit of Rs.11,000 to 12,000.” He did this work for almost 3 to 4 years before he got any chance to debut his way in the entertainment world.

Further, into the game, Amitabh also asks him about his days where he worked as a chef.

To this, he replied by saying, he used to work at an eating joint, where he used to make and serve jalebis., chole nature, and samosas. He was also in charge of making sure that the restaurant tables were joined together. He goes on to share,” just like anyone, I had a wall behind the place where I worked as a chef, and there I put up pictures of my most inspired people, yours(Amitabh Bachan), Jackie Chan’s, Sridevi, and Sylvestor Stallons, all the greatest legends of the time. And look at my fate today, I’ve met and worked with all the four of them”

He couldn’t believe his destiny’s magic and called it ‘Ajeeb Sa Ajooba’ that happened to his life and work career.
