Akshay Kumar is known for performing his own stunts, and sometimes it comes at a cost. Reportedly, during his shooting, the actor has sustained eye injury while performing a stunt on the sets. Without sharing much details about the accident, paparazzi handle Instant Bollywood shared a post, citing an insider shared, “An object came flying in Akshay’s eye while he was doing a stunt. An ophthalmologist was called on the set immediately, who bandaged the eye and asked him to take some rest, while the shoot resumed with the other actors.”
The reports also suggested that the incident happened on the sets of Housefull 5.
Earlier in the week, Akshay made it to the news for commencing the shoot of his upcoming movie Bhooth Bangla. For the horror comedy movie, the actor has joined hands with his frequent collaborator Priyadarshan, and the movie is expected to be released on April 2, 2026.
Akshay and Priyadarshan has previously worked on several hits including Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Bhagam Bhag.
