Ajay Devgn’s NY Foundation hosted a vaccination camp in Mumbai specifically for entertainment and media people.

Bollywood actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn  organised a vaccination camp in Mumbai on Friday for employees in the entertainment sector and media professionals through his NY Foundation.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his Twitter handle by writing, “AJAY DEVGN ORGANISES VACCINATION CAMP… #AjayDevgn’s NY Foundation conducted a vaccination camp on 11 June 2021 in #Mumbai… Those vaccinated included workers associated with the entertainment industry and media professionals.”

Ajay collaborated with BMC and Hinduja Hospital in April to establish ICUs and give emergency medical services to Mumbai residents impacted by Covid-19.

Previously, Rajkumar Hirani, Karan Johar, and producer Mahaveer Jain collaborated to launch a free vaccine drive for entertainment industry workers.

It was also stated that Yash Raj Films (YRF) studios launched a Covid vaccination drive for film industry personnel, with the goal of immunising around 4000 staff in the first round.

YRF intends to vaccinate 30,000 enrolled FWICE members (Federation of Western India Cine Employees). Previously, the business vaccinated its staff in a campaign that took place in Mumbai.

Aside from YRF Studios, producer Sajid Nadiadwala organised a vaccination drive for approximately 500 Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment employees and their families.

The Producers Guild of India (PGI) also started a vaccination drive for its members and associated production staff last week.

The Indian Motion Picture Producers’ Association (IMPPA) and the Screenwriters Association (SWA) have both launched free vaccination initiatives for their employees.
