After Bhumi Pednekar, now Vicky Kaushal tests positive for COVID-19.

Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal, both were shooting together for a movie ‘Mr Lele’.

FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) General Secretary Ashok Dubey said, “Vicky and Bhumi were shooting for Mr Lele and have tested positive. The entire unit has stopped shooting. Several junior artists were also tested for Covid-19 but they have tested negative for the virus.”

With several actors testing positive for the novel coronavirus, FWICE has increased precautions on the sets. Ashok Dubey added, “We have informed production houses to stop all dancing sequences and also no fight scenes should be canned. We are also going to issue SOPs to them, following the guidelines issued by the government. We have informed all the film units to do RT-PCR test and if anyone is positive then they should be replaced, there is no need to halt the shoot.”

Informing fans about his diagnosis, Vicky had shared on Instagram, “Inspite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe.”
