Aditya Roy Kapur clarifies his relationship with Ranveer Singh’s ex
Aditya Roy Kapur clarifies his relationship with Ranveer’s girlfriend from college. Dating someone 8 months after a breakup can’t be called stealing.
Early college days bring up different memories for different people. For many, college could have been where they excelled in studies, found long-lasting friendships, and maybe even romantic relationships. But when Ranveer Singh thinks of the good old college days, he thinks about heartbreak and jealous classmates. In Neha Dhupia’s chat show #NoFilterNeha back in 2017, he opened up about his girlfriend leaving him for Aditya Roy Kapur. Aditya, however, recently shared in the same chat show that his relationship with Ranveer’s ex was completely taken out of context.
Aditya Roy Kapur, who acted in Fitoor, clarified in a recent interview in the radio talk show that he did not steal Ranveer Singh’s girlfriend. He said that he started dating her eight months after the breakup with Ranveer. Here’s Aditya Roy Kapur: “Maybe, I didn’t know how he felt. Only around eight months after that, did I start seeing her.” Clearly, dating a girl eight months after a breakup can’t be considered cheating, according to Aditya.
Ranveer didn’t think so. According to him, Aditya was the heartthrob at college. That initiated her breakup with him. Here’s Ranveer Singh: “He was like every girl’s fantasy in junior college and the girl that I was crazy about that time who is now married with a kid, I was mad about her. It was a good 4-5 years that I was crazy over her. And then she finally broke up with me. It was in order to move onto a certain Aditya Roy Kapur.” Clearly, Ranveer regards her next relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur as a cheap stunt. Well, Aditya seems to think he was pretty decent.
In any case, Ranveer is now happily married to Deepika Padukone. The two do make a gorgeous couple.
Meanwhile, Aditya also shared about the relief he got during the pandemic from fan-attention as he said, “Actors are happy because we can now go under the radar. I put on my mask and my helmet and no one knows it’s me.”
