Adipurush: Om Raut and Manoj Muntashir receives death threats from Hindu fringe group – WATCH

In a news conference held in Madhya Pradesh, the Kshatriya Karni Sena threatened to kill the movie’s director, Om Raut, and dialogue writer, Manoj Muntashir, over the film’s contentious dialogue and depictions of Lord Ram, Sita, Hanuman, and Ravan.

During a news conference in Biaora, Rajgarh, Dr. Raj Shekhawat, National President of the Kshatriya Karni Sena, declared: “We will kill the director, haath mein aaya toh koot denge. We are planning to form a team in Mumbai and tell them to get hold of weapons to find him and kill him.” See the video down below.

Indal Singh Rana, at the press conference, used the same dialogue and threatened Manoj by saying, “Sheher bhi tera, ghar bhi, tera, sar bhi tera, aur joota rahega kshatriya karni sena ka.”

AAP, Congress, and the Shiv Sena (UBT) were among the parties who denounced Adipurush for hurting people’s feelings. Adipurush, starring Prabhas, has drawn criticism for its subpar visual effects and informal interaction on social media. The creators of “Adipurush” have decided to change the dialogue in response to such criticism.

On Friday, the 3D, multilingual movie—which also stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh—was made available nationwide.

Adipurush, which is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, has a Rs. 500 crore budget. The film’s producers asserted that it made Rs 140 crore on Friday, the day of release.
