Recently, Padman director R Balki made a controversial statement. In an interview he was asked his take on nepotism in the industry. He went on to make a comment like, ‘Find me a better actor than Ranbir Kapoor or Alia Bhatt, then we’ll argue.’ This controversial comes after Sushant Singh Rajput‘s demise. It created a buzz in the social media. Netizens started calling him ignorant towards good talented actors.
Apurva Asrani and Shekhar Kapur gave a list of actors who were better than the Ranbir and Alia. Now Four More Shots Please actress Maanvi Gagroo wants to know how can she apply. Maanvi took to her Twitter to comment on R Balki’s statement.

On the other hand, Apurva can not help but name good actors. He replied to R Balki and named actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Tripathi, etc.

R Balki had told Hindustan Times, “The question is do they (star kids) have an unfair or bigger advantage? Yes, there are pros and cons. But I’d ask one simple question: Find me a better actor than Alia (Bhatt) or Ranbir (Kapoor), and we’ll argue. It’s unfair on these few people who’re probably some of the finest actors.”
On work end, Maanvi Gagroo showed her acting skills in No One Killed Jessica, PK, Udja Chaman and recently released Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan among many others.
