Vivek Oberoi violated traffic rules and also COVID-19 rules. The police issued an E-challan of Rs. 500.

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been caught for violating traffic rules. On the eve of Valentine’s Day, many Mumbaikars are seen on the streets with their fellow partner. Same goes with Vivek Oberoi, he posted a video of him and his wife enjoying the cold breeze on their bike. In the video, the actor was seen violating traffic rules.

Later that day, the same video was used as a proof by the Santacruz traffic police to issue an E-challan to Oberoi for Rs. 500 for not wearing a helmet.

Further, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Western Traffic) Somnath Gharge confirmed the E-challan issued to the actor after the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) took cognizance of the matter.

Meanwhile, the police said that the actor was also found in the video violating the pandemic prohibitory orders that have been imposed by the Government. “The actor violated the traffic rules for riding without a helmet. He was also found not wearing a mask.”
