In context to the actor’s philanthropic move to help patients with Remdesivir vials, the Maharashtra government commented: “During the investigation, they were directed from A to B, and then from B to C and we finally ended up at shops inside Lifeline Medicare Hospital. It had come from Cipla in Bhiwandi. This is what we know so far. This is outside government allocation. An inquiry is pending.”

Sonu Sood emerged as the godly face in the ongoing crisis. Along with his team, he arranged hospital beds for the needy, shipped oxygen cylinders to the hospitals, migrated people stranded in different parts of the country to their respective home towns and worked in conglomeration with the authorities to build a better health infrastructure.
