Actor Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19? Uncle Randhir Kapoor confirms

Actor Ranbir Kapoor has been tested positive for COVID-19. Uncle Randhir Kapoor confirms that the actor is unwell.

Reports claim that Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been tested positive for COVID-19. Ranbir had started shooting for multiple films since the start of this year. Recently, we saw the Barfi actor shooting for his mega ambitious ‘Brahmāstra.’ The film is scheduled to shoot in Mumbai. Ranbir’s COVID-19 positive report was initially confirmed by his uncle Randhir Kapoor. While, he also said that Ranbir is currently unwell and he doesn’t know the exact reason.

Meanwhile, a few months back Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor too was tested positive for COVID-19, when she was shooting for ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ in Chandigarh. As per sources, apparently Ranbir has put himself in self quarantine to rest himself.

Further, in the past few weeks Maharashtra has seen a huge spike in COVID-19 cases. According to few government stats more than 10,000 cases have been registered everyday in the state. Alone Mumbai contributes 1000+ cases. CM Uddhav Thackeray has raised multiple warnings but people seem to be least bothered about it. Violation of covid protocols are considered the major reasons for sudden spike in cases. If this goes on Maharashtra might again see a full fledged lockdown.

Talking about Ranbir upcoming movies, the actors has an interesting lineup of films. He will be seen in Shamshera, Brahmāstra, Luv Ranjan’s untitled next and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
