Nandini Gupta, a 19-year-old from Rajasthan, was named Femina Miss India 2023 at a grandiose ceremony held on Friday night.
It was reported that Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur and Shreya Poonja from Delhi were the first and second runners-up. The Miss India Organisation congratulated the winners on Instagram, saying, “All of these ladies have a powerful voice, and we’re sure that they’ll use this platform to further all the important causes that they believe in.”

Nandini, a native of Rajasthan’s Kota, will now compete in the 71st Miss World pageant in the United Arab Emirates as the country’s representative.
She was inspired to pursue a degree in business administration, claims the university’s website, by her prior experience organising and supervising various extracurricular activities and events. Rejections, in her opinion, are essential to defining a person’s identity. She is prepared to face any challenges, disappointments, or rejections that may arise as she embarks on the journey of a lifetime.
Nandini claims that Ratan Tata, who “does everything for humanity and donates most of it to charity,” is the most significant figure in her life. She shares her desire to create jobs and provide people with a platform to launch their own legacies.
She described her native Rajasthan as being special due to its history, culture, traditions, and the delicacy of its people’s voices. “India spreads the Atithu Devo Bhavah message, and we Rajasthanis welcome them with Padharo Mhare Desh,” she continued.
Nandini, who described herself as “vocal and vivacious,” asserted that every woman should have self-confidence, be rooted in her history, and always be sensitive towards her dreams and giving back to society.
Nandini was primarily influenced by actress and former Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra. She was a great actor who gave back to the community. She stated that she inspires others, has a great sense of humour, and is passionate about obtaining more as she grows.
