Bollywood actress and Samajwadi Party member MP Jaya Bachchan during monsoon session in Parliament has slammed Kangana Ranaut and MP Ravi Kishan for their ‘gutter’ comment on Bollywood. To the statements made by Jaya Ji, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is all praise of her as she took to her Twitter account to hail the MP by a sharing the video of Jaya Bachchan’s speech.
Taapsee wrote in her tweet, “For we have always stood by the initiatives, causes and awareness campaigns. It’s time for payback. Hitting the nail on its head and how! Yet again a woman from the industry spoke up #Respect.”

Jaya Bachchan has said in her Parliament speech, “Just because there are some people, you can’t tarnish the image of the entire industry. I am ashamed that yesterday one of our members in Lok Sabha, who is from the film industry, spoke against it. It is a shame’.
Responding to this Kangana also gave back to her by tweeting, “Jaya Ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta beaten, drugged and molested as a teenager, would you say the same thing if Abhishek complained about bullying and harrasment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also”.
