Sushant Singh Rajput Case: No traces of poison, AIIMS scratches off death by poison angle

AIIMS has clarified in the post-mortem report of SSR’s body that there are no traces of poison present in his body.

The mystery behind the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput is giving birth to many controversies and speculations with each passing hour. There were speculations of homicide and inducing of poison which caused his death, but as per the latest report by Times Now, AIIMS has submitted the post-mortem report of the late actor declaring that there are no signs of the presence of poison in his body.

Previously, Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem was carried out by Cooper Hospital which stated that he died because of suffocation. Now, according to a report by Times Now, a special team of doctors from AIIMS carried out the post-mortem of the late actor’s body and their autopsy reports suggest that there are no traces of poison present in his body, which strikes off the speculations of his death being caused by poison. The team of AIIMS also pointed out the loopholes in the report submitted by Cooper Hospital such as the time of death not being mentioned. Nevertheless, AIIMS has not yet ruled out the angle of homicide which may or may not have caused the death of the late actor.

ANI earlier quoted Dr Sudhir Gupta, chairman of AIIMS, saying that before reaching a “logical legal conclusion” of his death, there is a requirement to look into some of the legal aspects. Dr Sudhir was quoted saying, “AIIMS and CBI are in agreement on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case but more deliberations are needed. There is a need to look into some legal aspects for a logical legal conclusion in due course of time. It will be totally conclusive.”
