After Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others, the actress went on to file a transfer petition. Rhea asked the Supreme Court to move the case from Bihar to Mumbai. Sushant’s father made major allegations like abetment to suicide, theft, wrongful confinement and cheating to Bihar Police.

The Supreme Court is now likely to hear Rhea’s transfer petition on August 5. A single-judge bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy will hear the matter. The Maharashtra government has also filed a caveat to the top court to make sure that no order is passed without any prior notice. The Bihar government and Sushant’s father have already filed caveats.

Rhea even told SC that she has been falsely implicated by Sushant’s family. On Thursday, she told the apex court that she is receiving death and rape threats and that she is emotionally affected by Sushant’s death. Recently, she broke her silence on this matter and said that she has immense faith in God and she hopes that she will get justice. The actress further added that horrible things are being said about her on the electronic media. She ended her video by saying, “Satyamev Jayate. The truth shall prevail.”
