After the verdict was passed for CBI to take over Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case, the officials have recorded statement of his friend Siddharth Pithani and his cook Neeraj Singh on Sunday. This morning Neeraj Singh is said to be questioned three times by the CBI officials. The key maker who opened SSR’s room on 14th June is also to be questioned by the officials.
Siddharth Pithani and Neeraj Singh was present with CBI in Sushant’s residence for over five hours while they were investigating. The CBI team shot pictures and videos of the room to clarify whether suicide was possible in that place.The doctors at Cooper Hospital who had conducted Sushant’s autopsy on that day were also questioned by CBI.
Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu, a BJP legislature and cousin of SSR said Hindustan Times, “CBI investigation is going in the right direction. We are hopeful that the guilty will be caught. Siddharth Pithani should be definitely arrested. When we went for the last rites of Sushant, we saw that there was no sadness apparent on Pithani’s face. I am suspicious of his activities. He used to be a colleague of Sushant”.
“Another colleague of Sushant, Sandeep also started giving clean chits to people on the media just ten days after my cousin’s death. He was acting like a gangster. I have confidence that CBI will investigate and come to a result in this case. My belief is that third degree is important to get the truth out in this case”, Bablu added.
Currently CBI has collected documents from Mumbai police including forensic report, post mortam reports and statements of more than 50 people police has questioned.
