In Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case, Enforcement Directorate (ED) has alleged that Rhea Chakraborty is linked with usage of banned drugs. They have now brought up some evidence to CBI and Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB). On the other hand, Rhea’s lawyer is denying such allegations.
The officials mentioned that ED stumbled upon some data and have shared it with two other agencies but hasn’t mentioned the nature of the evidence. Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said, “Rhea has never consumed drugs in her life ever. She is ready for a blood test.”
Currently, CBI is busy in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death whereas the NCB is checking any drug related angle to the case. Earlier, Rhea was alleged under money laundering by Sushant’s father KK Singh which is why ED has grilled her with questions under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). After the FIR, she is under the scanner and is being questioned as she has stated in her petition in Supreme Court that she was in a live-in relationship with the late actor.
CBI has questioned many people who were close to Sushant, including Showik, Indrajit Chakraborty, Miranda, Shruti Modi, the chartered accountants of Rajput and Rhea, Rajput’s flat-mate and creative content manager Siddharth Pithani and three other house helps who were there when the late actor died.
