Rhea Chakraborty who was earlier accused by Sushant‘s father for abetting his son’s suicide was arrested recently by NCB. The actress has applied for bail in high court but on Friday it was rejected and she was set to stay in jail for 14 days. According to NDTV reports, Rhea has been send to Byculla jail and it is opposite to Indrani Mukherjee, who murdered her daughter Sheena Bora.
The news channel sources told that Rhea is currently kept in a single cell for ‘security reasons’ and there are issues that she could be under threat as she is the main accuse by KK Singh. The reports also suggested that the actress was provided with a mat to sleep but not a bed or pillow in the cell. Her cell is constantly been guarded by two guards in three shifts and if the court allows she will be provided with a table fan for her.
Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde in his recent statement to PTI said that, “Once we get a copy of the order passed by the special NDPS court, we will decide next week on further course of action and about approaching the Bombay High court”. Rhea Chakraborty has also claimed that she was falsely accused in the SSR suicide case.
Currently the CBI is seperately probing the other angle of the case and ED is looking into the money laundering part.
