The high court has decided to announce a decision tomorrow on Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea.
Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty registered their bail at court whose decision on the case has been reserved for over a week now.
Rhea and Showik’s judicial custody has been extended every two weeks, ended today. The custody is finally extended till 20th October, the Special NDPS Court reported.
During the previous extension, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) agents went to prison for interrogating Showik’s involvement in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s drug case. Sushant’s servant, Dipersh Sawant, along with his former house manager, Samuel Miranda, were also interrogated during the probe.
Rhea Chakraborty was detained on 9th September while Showik was detained on 4th September, both by the NCB. 19 other suspects from Bollywood have undergone similar interrogations regarding the drug case.
The NCB alleged Rhea as an ‘active member of drug syndicate’ for consuming and exchanging drugs with Sushant, according to an India.com report.
Recently, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) reports to the Central Bureau of Investigation suggested that the Sushant’s death was an intentional suicide over murder or organic poisoning. CBI will not reveal details. However, it has informed that all angles are being probed.
