As the Bollywood industry is falling into the pit of drug cartel, Karan Johar‘s 2019 party video went viral again. In the video, many celebrities including, Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor etc were present. All the stars appeared to be either drunk or drugged.
While, Narcotics Control Bureau is investigating the industry on the grounds of procuring or consuming drugs, the video surfaced on the internet again. Recently, Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were summoned for questioning. After more than 4 hours of grilling, the actresses’ left the office.
During the post investigation press conference, NCB official were asked about the mentioned video. The official answered that the video has no significance in the case and that there will be no summoning on the basis of video. Futher, he was asked about summoning other celebrities, to which the official denied sending out summonings.
All of this started after ED handed over drug evidence to NCB in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. Since then, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik have been arrested for procuring and consuming drugs. Recently, an ex-employee of Dharma Productions, Kshitij Prasad was also taken into custody for stacking drugs at his Versova house.
