Kushi box office collection day 1: Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s film earns Rs 16 crores

Kushi was released in theatres on Friday, September 1. Fans, netizens, and moviegoers have given the film high marks and great reviews. The film is a box office success.

Following the success of Mahanati, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda are back with a love film, Kushi, which debuted strongly in theatres on Friday. According to early estimates from a well-known regional entertainment blog, the Tamil film grossed a stunning 16 crore across all languages.

According to a regional portal, the Telugu version had an occupancy of roughly 59.13 percent, while the Tamil version had an overall occupancy of 40.12 percent. With a 16 crore opening, the picture has a good chance of doing well this weekend.

Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Kushi has been dubbed in Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. It also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya.

The plot revolves around Vijay’s Viplav and Samantha’s Aaradhya falling in love while on separate vacations in Kashmir. But their families intervene to keep them apart. To prove their family incorrect, the couple marries. Their marriage, however, encounters a snag when they begin to disagree. The story revolves around their familiar but lovely world of romance with sad moments.

Samantha took a break from work to holiday in Bali before returning to India to promote Kushi. Last month, she performed alongside Vijay at the Kushi musical concert in Hyderabad. As they danced to the film’s romantic scenes, the duo set the stage on fire. Beautiful songs in the film include Na Rojaa Nuvve, Aradhya, and Yedhaki Oka Gaayam, Osi Pellama and the Kushi title song.
