The dance of the deadly Coronavirus virus has affected theatres and multiplexes drastically over a period of three months and it is estimated to continue to have an impact after unlock 1.0 as well. It has been estimated that though theatres will resume in the month of July, footfall will be low for initial months as people will be cautious to be in a close environment that can put them at the risk of catching the virus.

As per the statistics, INOX reported a major loss of Rs 21 crore in the March Quarter of FY 20 against a profit before tax of Rs 68 crore a year ago.
