As reported in an article of Times of India, claims that the BMC may have to redo demolished portions of the Kangana’s office if her documents prove that the space was authorised. While the BMC in their notice alleged that they were only breaking down “illegal alterations”, the actress, on the counter part stated in a series of tweets that, “There is no illegal construction in my house.”
Kangana Ranaut has also blamed the BMC that they not only broke down the interiors of her office but also destroyed her personal belongings kept in the property. “My office was suddenly declared illegal in last 24 hours, they have destroyed everything inside including furniture and lights,” she declared in her tweets.
On Wednesday, the BMC had to face a lot of criticism after demolishing portions of Kangana’s Bandra office, with some critics saying she was targeted. The Bombay High Court, on the other hand, put a stay on any further demolition to the office. However, it is said that over 80% of the work was done by the time Ranaut’s legal team got a stay order for the same.
Responding on Wednesday’s incident, Kangana Ranaut said that the civic body should focus on the poor-quality conditon of roads instead of targeting her properties. “BMC, these are Mumbai road and all you are concerned about is DEMOLITION of an actress house who is exposing mafia. KUDOS to you..!! #DeathOfDemocracy,” Kangana tweeted.
