Delhi Police Special Cell has summoned short film producer Rahul Roy and documentary filmmaker Saba Dewan for questioning in connection with North-East Delhi violence that broke out on February, this year.
On Saturday, Delhi Police named Rahul Roy, CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury, Swaraj Abhiyan leader Yogendra Yadav, economist Jayati Ghosh, Delhi University professor and activist Apoorvanand as co-conspirators in the riots.
Ex Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), student Umar Khalid has also been arrested for his alleged role in riots.
