Deepika Padukone confirms the summoning and will join the drug probe

Deepika Padukone’s team has confirmed the summoning and has stated that she will arrive at the NCB office tomorrow.

Deepika Padukone, who is currently in Goa has confirmed the summoning and will be joining the drug probe on 25th September. According to Times Now, Deepika’s team has confirmed that they have received the summoning from NCB and that she will co-operate and appear before the investigating agency. The actress will appear before the agency at 11 am.

Earlier, it was reported that the actress will leave Goa for Mumbai at 1:30pm today but she is still in the city. On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan has already left and is on the way to Mumbai.


The Chhappak actress’s name was allegedly revealed by the WhatsApp group chats in which ‘D’ was asking ‘K’ for the hash. She was mentioned by Jaya Saha, the former talent manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, in the second round of questioning, on Tuesday. Not only her, Rakul Preet Singh has also been summoned.


Mumbai Police has increased the security around Deepika’s Prabhadevi house before her arrival. She will visit her house first and then be the part of the interrogation tomorrow. The actress was busy shooting in Goa for her next movie with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
