On Monday it was reported by the media houses that actresses like Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor will be summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for investigation in the Bollywood drug cartel. Now, in an enormous development, the NCB has sent summon to Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash after the actor’s name was found in Jaya Saha’s drug chats. Deepika’s manager Karishma is Jaya Saha’s assistant and she also works with KWAN Talent Management Agency which is the same agency that was questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
As per the latest reports by Pinkvilla, the talks suggests that NCB will summon KWAN director Dhruv and he is expected to appear before the court today. On Monday, Rhea Chakraborty’s talent manager Jaya Saha was summoned by the NCB for further probe into the Bollywood drugs angle. Jaya Saha has been called again by NCB today. Meanwhile, KWAN director summons reports came out after Deepika Padukone’s name emerged in drug chats.
Through the WhatsApp chats, it was understood that the ‘D’ asked for ‘hash, not weed’ in chat with ‘K’. Both names – D and K surfaced in the WhatsApp drugs chat and while these chats date back to October 2017, in the chats, Deepika is asking for “maal” from ‘K’ and to this, K replies that she has it, but at home. Further ‘K’ says that she can ask ‘Amit’ if she wants it, as “he is carrying”.
At the moment, Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash will be quizzed by the NCB as a summon has been sent to her.
