A 19 year old gang-rape victim from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh was brutally tortured and raped by four men. As per reports, the victim belonged to the Dalit community while the attackers belonged to the so-called ‘upper class’ community. The accused have been booked under the charges of murder. The victim was admitted to the ICU ward of a hospital in Uttar Pradesh. But only yesterday she was shifted to AIIMS Delhi, and lost her life this morning.
This horrific incident has led to an uproar on social media where Bollywood celebrities and other people are demanding justice for the brutal crime against the young girl. While several Bollywood celebrities like Yami Gautam, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Vijay Varma, Kangana Ranaut and several other celebrities took to social media to react against the barbaric crime.
