Aditya Pancholi reacts on CBI for Sushant Singh Rajput’s case; says innocent people will be relieved

Suraj Pancholi’s father, Aditya Pancholi, stated that the Supreme Court verdict for CBI inquiry would be a “relief for innocent people”.

Much to the relief of the fans, family and supporters, the Supreme Court has finally passed the verdict on the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death probe. The case has finally been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigations. The verdict came after Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the apex court to transfer the probe from Bihar Police back to Mumbai.

Satisfied with the verdict, Aditya Pancholi told ETimes, “This was much needed at this time. It is a very big relief. I am very happy that CBI is going to do the investigation. The truth will come out and the culprits will be punished. At the same time the most important thing is that so many fingers were pointed out at innocent people, they will also get relief. I welcome the Supreme Court’s judgement”.

Furthermore, he added, “It is not only about my son Sooraj Pancholi, but innocent people should also be relieved and the culprit should be arrested. CBI is one of the most premier agencies of our country. They will do the investigation right and the real truth will come out.”

Earlier, Sooraj Pancholi had cleared his stand after his name was dragged into Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The actor had clarified that he had met Sushant only twice and did not know Disha Salian.

Following Sushant’s father, KK Singh’s FIR against Rhea and others in Patna, CBI had already started their investigation in the case. They had also questioned his family in the case and recorded their statements earlier.

Sushant was mysteriously found dead at his Mumbai apartment on 14 June ’20.
