The two platforms launched include the Auto Scrutiny-based Building Permission and Change of Land Use (CLU) Portal, integrated with GIS-based Master Plans using CivitPERMIT(AutoDCR), and the Unified Web Portal of the Housing & Urban Development Department, J&K. , Commissioner Secretary of the Housing & Urban Development Department, described the Building Permission Portal as a “first-of-its-kind initiative in the country,” integrating automation, spatial intelligence, and regulatory compliance on a single digital interface. The platform automatically scrutinises AutoCAD drawings and verifies compliance with building bye-laws and GIS-mapped Master Plans, eliminating manual intervention and accelerating building approvals.
