Smartworks Coworking Spaces has announced a significant expansion of its operational capacity by adding 4,02,200 square feet in Gurugram. This development is part of the company’s strategic growth plan to enhance its business operations and expand its footprint in the coworking space sector.
The existing leased capacity of Smartworks stands at 13.7 million square feet, with an operational capacity of 10.1 million square feet. The current utilisation rate of the operational capacity is 82%, indicating a robust demand for the company’s services.
The newly added capacity is expected to be operational within May 2026. The investment required for this expansion is approximately ₹60 crore, which will be financed through internal accruals or issue proceeds. This strategic move aims to support the company’s business growth and further solidify its presence in the market.
