SJVN Limited has reported significant achievements in energy generation for the financial year 2025–26, with its operational power stations generating a total of 13,302 million units. This marks a notable benchmark in the company’s energy production capabilities.
The 1,500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station recorded its second-highest annual energy generation since its inception, producing 7,506.617 million units during the fiscal year. In March 2026, the station also surpassed a cumulative power generation milestone of 150 billion units.
The 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station achieved its highest-ever annual energy generation, producing 2,108.034 million units in FY 2025–26. This is the first time the station has crossed the 2,100 million units mark in its eleven years of operation.
Additionally, the 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station generated 310.37 million units in FY 2025–26, marking a 17% increase over its design energy of 265.5 million units. The 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Station also set a record by generating one billion units of energy on 19th March 2026.
Chairman and Managing Director Bhupender Gupta congratulated the employees and expressed gratitude for the support from the Government of India, the Ministry of Power, state governments, and all stakeholders. He highlighted the company’s consistent growth since the commissioning of its first project, contributing significantly to the nation’s energy needs.
Director (Personnel) Ajay Kumar Sharma attributed the success to the dedication of employees and noted the projects’ contributions to socio-economic development, particularly in project vicinities. Director (Finance) Parthajit De also commended the employees, emphasising the organisation’s strong operational capabilities and its role in the country’s energy landscape.
SJVN, a Navratna CPSE, continues to support the Indian government’s vision of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
