Shree Cement’s Board of Directors has approved the establishment of a new integrated cement plant in , with an estimated investment of ₹1800 crore. The plant, located in Village Daistong, East Jaintia Hills District, will have a clinker capacity of 0.95 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) and a cement capacity of 0.99 MTPA.

The project is expected to be completed by the quarter ending March 2028. The expansion will be financed through a combination of internal accruals and debt. This move is part of ‘s strategy for business expansion.

Currently, the company does not have any existing capacity at the proposed site, making this a significant addition to its production capabilities. The decision aligns with the company’s growth plans and aims to strengthen its presence in the region.
